Article 1. Application

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") set forth the conditions governing the use of the app "Reversi Master" and all associated websites, notifications, support channels, administrative features, and other related services (collectively, the "Service") provided by the Operator.

Users shall use the Service in compliance with these Terms and any guidelines, notices, help pages, payment guides, store descriptions, or specific rules separately displayed within the Service or by the Operator. By using the Service, users are deemed to have agreed to these Terms.

Minors should obtain the consent of a legal guardian or person with parental authority before using the Service.

Article 2. Service Description

The Service includes Reversi matches against AI, progress saving, title and profile features, news display, support inquiry reception, shop-related displays, benefits from watching advertisements, and other features as determined by the Operator.

The content, specifications, names, difficulty, match credits and other in-game conditions, rewards, pricing, supported devices, service regions, availability dates, and displayed content of the Service may be added, changed, suspended, or terminated at the Operator's discretion. The Operator may modify all or part of the Service without prior notice as needed for maintenance, incident response, legal compliance, security, game balance adjustments, or other operational reasons.

Article 3. Accounts and Usage

Some features of the Service may require sign-in via a Google account. Guest users may have limited access to features, and progress, titles, settings, and other data may not be saved, transferred, or restored.

Users shall manage their accounts, authentication credentials, devices, and network environment at their own responsibility. The Operator is not liable for disadvantages arising from unauthorized use by third parties, device loss, app deletion, OS reinstallation, device changes, or other user-side circumstances, except where the Operator has acted with intent or gross negligence.

Users shall use the Service as themselves and shall not impersonate third parties or fraudulently use third-party accounts, devices, payment methods, or information.

Article 4. Fees, Payments, and Advertising

The Service may include paid items or paid features that may be added in the future. In-game benefits may also be granted through watching advertisements.

Pricing, eligible items, payment methods, terms of provision, and other details of payments shall be as stated in the applicable store, payment screen, or Service display. Payments may be processed through Apple, Google, or other platform providers, and the terms, payment conditions, and refund policies of such platforms shall apply separately.

Except as required by law or platform rules, paid items, in-game currency, titles, match credits, ad-viewing benefits, and other digital rewards are not eligible for cash conversion, transfer, exchange, monetization, or refund.

Ad delivery, rewards from watching ads, the number of ad views, and availability may vary depending on device, region, age settings, network conditions, ad inventory, third-party provider availability, and other factors, and are not guaranteed to be always available.

Article 5. Prohibited Activities

Users shall not engage in the following activities when using the Service:

  • Violating laws, public order and morals, or these Terms
  • Registering false information, impersonation, or unauthorized use of third-party credentials or payment methods
  • Cheating, botting, macro use, automation tools, modified clients, unauthorized use of emulators, bug exploitation, or other activities that undermine fair use
  • Reverse engineering, decompiling, disassembling, source code analysis, or circumventing or disabling security mechanisms
  • Fraudulently obtaining, tampering with, or manipulating ad viewing, payments, match credits, title awards, rankings, progress, or other Service processes
  • Infringing on the intellectual property rights, portrait rights, privacy rights, reputation, or other rights and interests of the Service or third parties
  • Including illegal, harmful, discriminatory, obscene, threatening content, third-party personal information, or content deemed inappropriate by the Operator in nicknames, support messages, images, or other submitted information
  • Placing excessive load on the Service's servers, network, or operations
  • Using the Service for commercial, resale, competitive, or profit-making purposes without the Operator's prior consent
  • Interfering with the business of the Operator or third parties
  • Any other activities that the Operator reasonably deems inappropriate

Article 6. User-Submitted Information

Users are solely responsible for all nicknames, support messages, attached images, opinions, requests, and any other information entered, submitted, or displayed within the Service ("User-Submitted Information").

Users represent and warrant that they hold the necessary rights to User-Submitted Information and that it does not infringe on third-party rights. Users grant the Operator a non-exclusive, free, non-transferable license to use, reproduce, store, edit, summarize, and display User-Submitted Information to the extent necessary for providing the Service, support, bug investigation, quality improvement, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, and legal compliance.

The Operator may hide, delete, reject editing of, or restrict use of all or part of User-Submitted Information without prior notice if deemed to violate these Terms or applicable law.

Article 7. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights related to the Service, including copyrights, trademarks, know-how, programs, designs, images, text, game specifications, and databases, belong to the Operator or their rightful owners.

The license granted to users under these Terms is limited to a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for private, non-commercial purposes. No copyrights or other rights are transferred to users.

Article 8. Restriction, Suspension, and Termination

The Operator may, without prior notice, take measures including usage restrictions, match suspension, shop suspension, login suspension, limiting operations to support inquiries only, account suspension, or deletion of related data if a user is deemed to fall under any of the following:

  • Violation of these Terms
  • Fraudulent activity or suspicion thereof
  • Payment disputes, chargebacks, legal violations, or third-party infringement claims
  • Security or operational concerns
  • Prolonged inactivity requiring operational cleanup
  • Other circumstances reasonably deemed inappropriate for continued Service provision

The Operator is not obligated to disclose the reasons for such measures, except as required by law.

Article 9. Withdrawal, Deletion, and Data Handling

If no dedicated withdrawal or deletion feature is currently available in the app, users may request account or data deletion through the support channel. The Operator may be unable to delete all or part of the data due to identity verification, legal retention obligations, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, audit requirements, or other legitimate reasons.

Data during guest usage, usage records while not logged in, or progress in certain trial features may be lost due to app deletion, interruption, device changes, or failure to sign in, and restoration is not guaranteed.

Article 10. Disclaimer

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. The Operator does not warrant the completeness, accuracy, continuity, security, fitness for a particular purpose, absence of defects, bug-free operation, constant availability, freedom from data loss, consistent game balance, or proper functioning on all devices, operating systems, or regions.

The Operator is not liable for malfunctions, delays, data loss, notification failures, payment issues, ad display failures, or unrewarded ad views caused by network connections, device performance, OS, stores, Google, Firebase, advertising providers, or other third-party services, except where the Operator has acted with intent or gross negligence.

The Operator is not responsible for disputes between users or between users and third parties.

Article 11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, and except where the Operator has acted with intent or gross negligence or where exclusion or limitation of liability is not permitted by law, the Operator shall not be liable for lost profits, indirect damages, special damages, incidental damages, punitive damages, or consequential damages.

Even where the Operator is liable for damages to a user, the total amount shall not exceed the greater of the total amount actually paid by the user to the Operator in connection with the Service during the 12 months immediately preceding the date on which the damage occurred, or 10,000 JPY, except where such limitation is not permitted by law.

Article 12. Privacy

The Operator's handling of user information is governed by the separately established "Privacy Policy." Users should review the Policy before using the Service.

Article 13. Changes to These Terms

The Operator may change these Terms where there are reasonable grounds, including changes in legislation, changes to the Service content, security requirements, or operational necessity.

Revised Terms take effect upon notification through in-app display, website posting, or other methods deemed appropriate by the Operator, or on a separately announced effective date. Where user consent is required by law for changes, the Operator will follow the procedures required under applicable law.

Article 14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

All matters related to these Terms and the Service shall be governed by the laws of Japan, without prejudice to the application of mandatory consumer protection laws or other mandatory laws applicable to the user.

In the event of a dispute between a user and the Operator regarding these Terms or the Service, the Tokyo District Court shall serve as the court of first instance with exclusive agreed jurisdiction, except where otherwise provided by applicable law.

Article 15. Language

Even if a translated version of these Terms exists, the Japanese version shall be the authoritative text unless otherwise required by law, and in the event of any inconsistency or conflict between the Japanese version and a translated version, the Japanese version shall prevail.
