This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you use our mobile application “乙女チャット&占い - AI彼氏とトークゲーム” (the “App”) and our associated cloud services. 1) Information We Collect

Information you provide

  • Profile stored on your device only: first name or nickname, birth month/day, selected character/avatar.
  • In‑app messages: any text you type into the chat feature. This content is sent to our backend to obtain AI-generated responses. Do not include sensitive personal information in your messages.

Information collected automatically

  • Anonymous identifiers: a Firebase Authentication anonymous user ID used to manage usage limits and subscription entitlement.
  • App usage counters: daily counts of free/subscriber chat requests associated with your anonymous user ID.
  • Subscription status: whether your subscription is active, product ID, and expiry time (if applicable).
  • Analytics events: limited usage events via Firebase Analytics (e.g., subscription verification, quota exceeded). These may include device information, app version, and general usage metrics.
  • Device identifiers for advertising and measurement: advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID / AAID) and related signals when ads are displayed or measured (e.g., via Google AdMob and the Meta (Facebook) SDK).
  • App events for measurement (examples): app launches, installs, registration completion, purchases/subscriptions, and other conversion-related events.
  • Usage data (examples): screen views and interaction events (such as button taps) used for analytics, measurement, and service improvement.
  • Crash/diagnostic information (only if crash reporting is enabled in the App).
  • App integrity signals (Firebase App Check / Play Integrity) to protect the service.

Sensitive categories

We do not intentionally collect sensitive categories (e.g., government IDs, precise health data). Do not include such content in chat messages.

2) How We Use Information

  • Provide and improve services: generate fortunes and AI chat replies, operate the App, measure and improve performance, show or remove ads depending on your subscription.
  • Accountless access: maintain an anonymous Firebase user to enforce daily usage limits and enable purchase verification.
  • Subscription management: verify your Google Play subscription via secure server‑side validation and update your entitlement record.
  • Security and abuse prevention: validate requests using App Check and protect against fraud, abuse, and unauthorized use.
  • Analytics: understand aggregate usage to improve features and stability.
  • Advertising & measurement: display ads to non‑subscribed users; measure ad effectiveness and conversions, optimize delivery, and improve the service.

3) Where Your Data Is Stored

On your device (local only)

Profile (name/nickname, birth month/day), selected character, locally generated fortune text, recently viewed images, chat input history and AI responses are saved in the App’s SharedPreferences. You can remove this data by clearing the App’s storage or uninstalling the App.

In our cloud (Firebase / Google Cloud)

  • Firestore documents: entitlements/{uid}: isSubscribed, productId, expireTime, updatedAt
  • usage/{uid}/days/{yyyy‑MM‑dd}: freeCount, subCount

We do not store your chat messages or prompts on our servers beyond transient processing unless required for security logs.

Third‑party AI processing

Chat content you send (including the fortune text included in your prompt and your typed message) is transmitted to OpenAI to generate a response. Avoid including personal or sensitive information.

4) Legal Bases (EEA/UK)

  • Contract/necessity: to provide the App’s core functionality (AI responses, entitlement).
  • Legitimate interests: security, fraud prevention, service improvement, non-personalized analytics.
  • Consent: where required for advertising personalization or analytics. In such regions, we rely on platform and Google consent solutions when applicable.

5) Sharing of Information

Service providers: Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Functions, Analytics, App Check), Google AdMob (advertising to non‑subscribers), Google Play Billing (purchase/subscription verification), OpenAI (response generation), and Meta Platforms, Inc. (Meta/Facebook SDK for advertising measurement and conversion tracking). We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information to comply with law, protect rights and safety, or in connection with corporate transactions.

6) Advertising, Measurement, and Meta (Facebook) SDK

Non‑subscribed users may see ads via Google AdMob. We also use the Meta (Facebook) SDK to measure advertising effectiveness and conversions (e.g., installs, registrations, purchases/subscriptions) and to optimize ad delivery. Data associated with measurement may be transmitted to Meta Platforms, Inc..

Data processed for measurement (examples)

  • Device identifiers: advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID / AAID).
  • App events: app launches, installs, registration completion, purchases/subscriptions, and other conversion-related events.
  • Usage data: screen views and interaction events.
  • Crash/diagnostic information (only if collected by enabled crash reporting).

Purposes

  • Advertising effectiveness measurement and conversion tracking.
  • Conversion optimization and analytics.
  • Service analysis and improvement.

Opt‑out / consent controls

  • Device settings: you can reset your advertising ID or limit ad tracking in your device settings.
  • In‑app consent: where available, you can turn measurement consent ON/OFF inside the App. When consent is OFF, collection of advertising ID and the sending of measurement events (including to Meta) will be stopped.

7) Data Retention

Device data (profile, fortune, chat history): remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the App. Cloud data (entitlements and usage counters): retained as necessary to operate the service (entitlement status, daily usage enforcement) and to comply with legal obligations or resolve disputes. Measurement data may be sent directly to third parties (e.g., Meta Platforms, Inc.) and retained according to their retention policies. We do not persist chat content on our servers beyond transient processing.

8) Security

  • Transport security (HTTPS/TLS) for all communications.
  • Firebase App Check and Play Integrity to mitigate abuse.
  • Firestore security rules restrict access to your own documents only.
  • Least‑privilege access and server‑side subscription verification.

9) International Transfers

Our services use Google Cloud/Firebase and OpenAI infrastructure. Data may be processed in Japan (asia‑northeast1) and other locations where these providers operate, subject to appropriate safeguards.

10) Your Rights

Depending on your region (including GDPR/EEA/UK and CCPA/CPRA in California), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your information, or object to/limit certain processing. You may also have rights to opt out of certain sharing for targeted advertising/measurement where applicable. Because the App uses anonymous authentication, requests may require you to provide your current anonymous user ID from the App to help us locate your records. 11) Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the relevant age of digital consent in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us to request deletion.

12) Data Controls and Choices

  • Device storage: clear App data or uninstall to remove local profile, fortune, and chat history.
  • Ads and analytics: adjust device and account settings; consent prompts may be presented where legally required.
  • Meta (Facebook) SDK measurement: where available, you can withdraw consent in‑app. When consent is OFF, advertising ID collection and measurement event sending (including to Meta Platforms, Inc.) will be stopped.
  • Messaging: avoid including sensitive personal information in chat messages.

We may update this Policy to reflect changes in our services or legal requirements. We will post the updated date above. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
