Studio Gennai (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provides the mobile game Senbon Kumiki (Japanese name: 千本クミキ, the “App”). This policy explains how we handle information in connection with the App.

This policy applies to the iOS and Android App and inquiries about it. The application identifier on both platforms is com.studio.gennai.senbonkumiki.

2. Information stored on your device

The App stores progress, including the puzzle state, levels reached or completed, and available recovery actions, together with your analytics choice, on your device. This information lets you resume the game and preserves your choices.

The App does not offer account registration or synchronization of game saves between devices through our servers. Operating-system backup and restoration are governed by your device and cloud settings.

3. Optional usage analytics

The App enables usage analytics through Google Analytics for Firebase (“Firebase Analytics”) only after you affirmatively allow it. You can play without allowing analytics.

The App asks for your choice after you complete the first level or at another appropriate point and stores that choice. You can change it using the “Analytics” control on the level-selection screen.

If you decline or withdraw consent, the App stops new analytics collection and deletes unsent analytics events in the queue managed by the App. This is separate from deleting analytics data already transmitted.

4. Information processed when you allow analytics

We use the following information to understand whether the game is clear, how people return to it, and where they get stuck or leave, and to support improvements and operational decisions:

• Gameplay actions and outcomes, such as starting or completing a level, getting stuck, replaying a move, or restarting
• Event times, time spent playing, and event identifiers
• Information about levels, app and content versions, operating systems, and platforms
• Analytics consent state

Firebase Analytics may also process a pseudonymous app-instance identifier, device and operating-system information, app usage, network information, and approximate region derived from an IP address. Information without a person's name is not necessarily fully anonymous.

We do not include your name, email address, contacts, precise location, advertising identifier, payment information, or the game save itself in the analytics event parameters defined by the App.

5. Information provided in inquiries

If you email us, we use your email address, any name you choose to provide, your message, and attachments to respond, investigate problems, and handle requests concerning your rights. We do not combine inquiry information with gameplay analytics for advertising.

Please do not send passwords, payment information, identity documents, or other information that is not needed to handle your inquiry.

6. External services and disclosures

We use Firebase Analytics, provided by Google LLC and its affiliates. Analytics information is transmitted to and processed by Google as necessary to provide the service. Inquiry information is processed through email services.

We do not sell information or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not disclose information to third parties except for necessary service-provider processing, with your consent, where required by law, or in other legally permitted circumstances.

The current App does not display advertisements, include an advertising SDK, offer in-app purchases, or request Apple's App Tracking Transparency permission. Advertising storage, advertising user data, and advertising-personalization settings remain denied even if you allow analytics.

7. Retention and deletion

• On-device progress and choices: Stored until you delete the App or clear its data through device settings. Features such as offloading an app or operating-system backups may retain data.
• Unsent analytics events managed by the App: Temporarily stored until sent or discarded. Events older than seven days are excluded from transmission and removed when the queue is processed. They are also removed when you decline or withdraw analytics consent.
• Firebase Analytics user-level and event-level data: The retention setting is two months, after which data is deleted according to Google's processing schedule. Aggregated reports outside the scope of this setting may be retained for longer.
• Inquiry information: Retained for as long as needed to address your inquiry and related follow-up, then deleted when no longer needed. Information may be retained for longer where necessary to comply with law or address disputes.

Withdrawing consent or deleting the App does not automatically delete analytics information already transmitted or operating-system backups. Contact us using section 1 to discuss deletion of information already transmitted.

8. Your rights and choices

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or stop processing, object to processing, or obtain portability of your information. We handle requests in accordance with applicable law. Where needed, we may request limited information to verify your identity and locate relevant records.

Because we do not register an account or email address in analytics records, your email address alone may not allow us to identify the relevant analytics data. In that case, we will explain available options and limitations.

For people in the EEA and UK, optional analytics is based on consent. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal. Handling inquiries and related matters is based on legitimate interests or legal obligations, as applicable. You may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

9. International processing and security

Information may be processed outside your country of residence in connection with Google, email services, and other relevant service providers. We use these services in accordance with applicable law, reviewing contractual and other relevant safeguards.

We apply appropriate security measures, including restricting access, to protect against unauthorized access, disclosure, loss, and similar risks. However, no method of transmission or storage can be guaranteed completely secure.

10. Children

The App is offered to a general audience aged 16 or older, and we do not direct usage analytics at children. Before enabling analytics, the App asks you to confirm that you are at least 16. It does not collect, store, or transmit a date of birth or numerical age.

If you are under 16, do not enable analytics. You can still play with analytics disabled. If you believe a child has enabled analytics, please contact us. We will review the circumstances and respond in accordance with applicable law.

11. Changes to this policy

We will update this page when our information practices change. We will communicate material changes appropriately and obtain renewed consent before new processing where required.

This policy is available in English and Japanese. If interpretations differ, the English version is the reference version, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
