Features
Koetoji saves recordings on your device and converts live speech to text using supported on-device recognition. The free app holds up to five playable recordings. Delete unwanted records to reuse the slots. Try transcription and continued recording on your actual device and in your language before buying Pro.
Pro is a one-time in-app purchase that removes the recording-count limit and enables tags and batch sharing, including selected transcripts as one text file. It is not an auto-renewing subscription. Storage, OS and other technical limits still apply. Buying Pro does not add support for an unsupported language or device or improve recognition accuracy.
Payment, restoration and refunds
The price appears in the app and store confirmation before purchase. Payment method and timing follow the store's instructions. Pro is enabled after purchase confirmation; store checks or connection issues may delay activation. Device and connectivity costs are yours. Minors must obtain parental or other legally required consent before purchasing.
Use Restore Purchases in Settings with the same store purchase account used to buy Pro. A connection or sign-in may be required. If restoration fails, check your purchase history and contact support before buying again. Refunded, revoked or otherwise invalid purchases are not eligible. There is no purchase transfer between the App Store and Google Play or between Koetoji and the original Mute Pad. Restoring a purchase does not restore recordings or text.
Refund requests follow the relevant store's procedures and applicable law. For Apple purchases, see Apple's refund guide. For Google Play, see Google Play's refund guide. We also accept support requests about Google Play purchases that require developer assistance. Eligibility is not guaranteed, and statutory rights are not limited.
Recordings, recognition and sharing
Calls, other apps, OS controls, low storage or device conditions may interrupt recording or recognition. Transcripts may contain errors or omissions. Check important content against the audio. Respect the rights and privacy of participants and obtain the consent or permission required for your recording, transcription and sharing under applicable rules.
The operator does not acquire ownership or an unrestricted license to your recordings or text. Do not use the app to infringe another person's rights. A cloud or AI sharing destination may transmit the content externally; review the content and destination's conditions first.
There is no library synchronization or migration. The operator cannot recover records made inaccessible through deletion, uninstalling, loss or failure of your device or encryption keys. Explicitly export important content. Information handling is described in the Privacy Policy.
Changes and mandatory rights
We communicate material changes to features or terms and their timing through the app, store or another appropriate channel and follow legally required procedures. These terms are based on Japanese law without restricting mandatory consumer or other rights that apply to you. They do not exclude liability imposed on the operator by applicable law. Relevant store terms also apply.
